The Case of the Missing English Teacher.

Never in the history of Fairfax highshool has there been a disappearance such as this. For years Mr. B has taught alongside Mr. G. Mr. B was known for his easier teaching style and cool atitude towards his students. although many students preferred his easier class most wanted Mr. G. Although his teaching methods were stricter, his class offered a better opportunity to do well in the final exams. For the longest time this was the status quo and neitherteacher had plans on doing anything different. Mr. B was content, he was an adequate teacher, he helped with the student clubs, and he was married. however, tension soon arose when the remarks against Mr. B became harsher. soon even the teachers were taking notice and talking behind his back. he was accused of being lazy, second class, and incompetent. at first the comments rolled off his shoulder. but soon he was agonized as he heard more hurtful statements in the halls. he became paranoid. when he couldn't get the attention of the class, he blamed himself, when things didn't go right at homee he blamed himself, when herealized his teaching methods were boring, he blamed himself. his mind was spinning as he sank deeper and deeper into depression. for weeks and weeks he stayed quiet and tought the class while the students were ignorant of their teacher's state of mind. but there were those who knew the truth. several of his students approached him, trying to help, for he was more a friend to them than a teacher. soon a female student began to engage in sexual activities with him, trying to cheer him up and to raise her grades. the scandal could not stay quiet. Mr. B's mind was in chaos and when he realized that another student had found out about te affair, he lost control. months of depression combined with panic seized Mr. B in a frenzy. he had to leave. without a moment's notice he fled the city, he could no longer be a teacher, his reputation was ruined. he divorced his wife cut off all bonds with his students, staff, and friends and vanished.

Here the mystery begins. no body knows exactly what has happened to Mr. B but some say that he committed suicide, others claim that he merely moved away. there are however recent accounts that Mr. B has been seen at school, late at night in his classroom. he lingers inside as to grasp his happy days as a teacher. he may had nowhere else to go, maybe he had just lost his mind. more uncertainty shrouds the few students that he keeps contact with. he tells them that he is ok and that nothing is wrong, just that he wont be back. perhaps this is to keep the rumor going that nothing is really wrong, to keep the police out. yet when the students are asked, they say nothing but still have a shadow of uncertainty and fear in their faces. they wish to tell the truth, but the truth is something terrible, horrible. and so the mystery continues.
